Fire in metal

Fuego is a Mokume Gane design made with palladium, yellow gold and rose gold. Many layers are forge-welded into one composite metal, creating a pattern reminiscent of wood, stone or lines of flame.

I make every pair in my Berlin workshop. The layered structure, pressure and temperature are crucial – as is the moment when the pattern is revealed. The finish and contours then determine how clearly the lines appear and how comfortably the ring sits.

During the consultation, we define width, height, profile and finish – and whether you prefer quiet, delicate lines or stronger contrasts. Fuego remains recognisable as a design while becoming unmistakably your ring.

Variations

The layered structure, pattern direction and finish allow Fuego to be shaped very precisely – these are typical directions.

Fein & ruhig

A subtle pattern with more depth than volume. Ideal if you prefer understatement.

High contrast

Clearer transitions and stronger lines. Especially effective on medium to wide rings.

Warm or cool

More gold feels warmer, more palladium cooler – without losing Fuego’s character.

FAQ

Brief answers to help you quickly decide whether Fuego is right for you.

What is Mokume Gane – and why is every ring unique?

Mokume Gane is created from many forge-welded metal layers. Revealing the structure produces an individual pattern – similar in character, but never identical.

Welche Materials stecken in Fuego?

Fuego combines palladium with warm gold tones (yellow gold and rose gold). The exact appearance can be controlled through the layered structure and finish.

How do you choose width, height and profile?

We consider the shape of your hand, comfort and your style. Width and height determine presence and comfort; the profile makes the ring suitable for everyday wear.

Which finish suits a strong pattern?

A matte finish feels calm and deep, while a polished finish looks clear and high-contrast. A combination that unites pattern and elegance is especially popular.
