Mokume Gane
The centuries-old Japanese art of metal layering
Wood grain made of metal
Mokume Gane means "wood grain metal" – a technique in which different precious metals are fused together using heat and pressure. The resulting patterns resemble wood grain or geological strata.
Each ring is unique – the pattern cannot be exactly reproduced. The combination of different metals creates fascinating color gradients from silver to gold to warm red tones.

Models
Each model utilizes a unique combination of precious metals. We develop the final design together – each grain pattern is created individually.
