Fire in Metal
Fuego is a Mokume-Gane design featuring palladium, yellow gold, and rose gold . Many layers are forged together to create a composite metal, resulting in a grain reminiscent of wood, stone, or flame lines.
I make each pair in my workshop in Berlin. The layering, pressure, and temperature are crucial – as is the moment the structure is opened. After that, the finish and contours define how crisp the lines appear and how comfortably the ring sits.
During the appointment, we'll determine the width, height, profile, and surface finish – and whether you prefer a calm, delicate line or stronger contrasts. This ensures that Fuego remains recognizable as a design – yet unmistakably becomes your ring.
