Welcome to our wedding ring forging course in the beautiful Heckmann Höfe!

Here you have the unique opportunity to forge your own wedding rings or simply friendship rings under instruction.

Our course is a wonderful opportunity to symbolize your love and connection to your partner/friend in a very special way.
You can make your rings a unique and personal symbol of your love and friendship.

The blacksmithing workshop lasts 4 - 6h and the rings can be taken along straight away.
But don't panic, if you need longer there is no pressure and the filing will take as long as necessary.

We will guide you through the entire process and help you have an unforgettable experience in a relaxed and inspiring environment.

However, MOKUME GANE rings cannot be made in the course.

WEDDING RING CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT

Process

First there is a consultation, which can take place either on the day of the course (if booked directly) or at a separate appointment in the workshop, via Zoom or by email.
Forging wedding rings involves several steps: melting, rolling, bending, hammering, and much more.
If you are curious and would like to find out more, you are welcome to arrange a free consultation. We will answer your questions personally and give you the opportunity to get to know our workshop.

The workshop

The workshop is exceptionally well equipped to enable all work steps to be carried out directly on site.
Everything is available, from a modern induction melting system and classic tools to a laser engraver.

A special highlight is the production of multi-colored rings without soldering. We achieve this through the solid-state diffusion welding process, in which metals are joined under pressure and heat. This creates a seamless connection without visible solder, which would be noticeable even with the most careful work. The result is a flawless, impressive appearance.
This is particularly evident in Mokume Gane wrestling, which, however, cannot be produced in the course.

laser engraving

Laser engravings are included in the price and can be done immediately on site.
This way you can take the rings with you and experience the engraving process live.
